Wrapping Up June 2025

JUNE

I blinked and somehow—it’s already the end of June. I know I haven’t been as visible lately. Life has been equal parts whirlwind and whisper. Between night shifts, OSCE prep, being a daughter, a fiancée, a nurse, a human trying to hold it all together—some days I just needed to step away from the noise and sit with myself. Sit with silence. Sit with God.

So here I am again. Not with a grand comeback. Just with a heart wide open. 🌻

June has been… layered. Messy-beautiful. A mosaic of tired mornings, answered prayers, unexpected grace, and tear-streaked victories. It’s been about showing up, even if limping. Healing, even while serving. And quietly rediscovering the rhythm of my own heartbeat. Not rushing. Just remembering.

🌙 Survived OSCE day on June 24—still waiting for results, but praying and trusting
🌾 Re-rooting myself gently after our May trip to the Philippines
🎂 Working on my 35th birthday Hogwarts-style countdown—little joys, big meanings
🕯️ Lit candles and said quiet prayers for Hans—still part of every chapter
🐾 Millie’s clingy routines keeping me grounded and smiling

Fix You – Coldplay
For All My Life – TAYA
Enchanted – Taylor Swift (because some days just call for wonder)
• My own prayers whispered to the wind

• Chicken Joy with extra gravy (of course)
• Banana cue, Cebu style
• Hot chocolate on cold UK mornings
• Toast with condensed milk and butter—comfort on a plate

Chicago Med (for the clinical feels and emotional whirlwinds)
The Many Deaths of Nora Dalmasso (mystery mode on)
• Random YouTube vlogs—because sometimes the mundane is oddly soothing

When God Wrecks Your Plans – because sometimes that’s where miracles begin
• My Bible—highlighted, underlined, wept upon
• Old blog drafts I never published but still carry pieces of me

Your strength doesn’t always roar. Sometimes, it whispers:
“I’m tired… but I’m still here.” And that is enough.

• Didn’t finish all the birthday countdown posts on time (life got lifey!)
• Missed some catch-ups with friends I’ve been meaning to see

• God’s quiet mercies that meet me in the mess
• Friends who check in when I go quiet
• Safe travels, small wins, surprise hugs
• My fiancé Jan—my calm in the chaos
• Purpose, even when I can’t always feel it

• Turning 35 (and still finding magic in everyday things)
• A slow, meaningful celebration with a Harry Potter twist
• New blog reflections for the birthday series (more narrative, more soul)
• Hoping for good OSCE results 🤍
• Rest, reflection, and gentle joy

Dear reader,

Thank you for staying even when my words take time.
Thank you for reading through the quiet seasons and the soul storms.
This story we’re living? It’s still unfolding—and I’m still learning to trust the Author.

See you in July. 🎈
To God be all the glory. Always.

Love,
ANJ ✨
