As a child, I used to dream of living under the sea. So when I stepped into Ocean Park, that dream felt almost within reach. 🐠🌊

Ocean Park Hong Kong is one of the city’s biggest and most beloved theme parks—and for good reason. It’s an oceanarium, amusement park, animal exhibit, and marine mammal park all rolled into one. There’s just so much to explore that boredom simply doesn’t exist in this place.

🐼 Giant Panda Adventure

One of our first stops was the Giant Panda Adventure. There’s something incredibly calming about watching this adorable resident from Mainland China munch on bamboo and casually nap in its lush temperate habitat.

📸 Of course, I couldn’t resist taking a hundred photos.

Next up, the Amazing Bird Theatre gave us a thrilling presentation featuring ten extraordinary birds of prey, including:

Striated Caracaras
…and many more! It was awe-inspiring to watch them soar so gracefully.

I did so many things here for the very first time, and they deserve a highlight section of their own:

My first-ever ride on a real mine train roller coaster. It had me screaming (and laughing) the whole time!

Inside the Polar Adventure, I met real, waddling, adorable penguins. Childhood dream: unlocked

We went up the tower and were met with stunning panoramic views of the South China Sea and the entire park. The ride gave me butterflies in my stomach—the good kind.

📸 View from the top? Breathtaking.

Yes, I was seriously amazed. The escalators at Ocean Park are a whole experience on their own! SO much longer than what we have back home in the Philippines. 😂

The classic Ocean Park Cable Car is both relaxing and exhilarating. Floating in mid-air while gazing at mountains and ocean views? Yes please.

My inner adrenaline junkie didn’t clock in that day 😅—so I decided to skip the scariest rides and just take photos instead. But here’s what I still dream of trying next time:

And… drumroll… The Hair Raiser – just the name makes me shiver!

I ended the day with my heart full of joy, adrenaline still coursing through my veins, and one big wish: to come back someday—with my family. This experience was one for the books.
