Hi! I’m Anj—nurse by profession, wanderer by wonder, and writer by heart.
Welcome to SuperAnjVentures—my little corner of the internet where life doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful.
This blog isn’t about having it all figured out.
It’s about noticing life while it’s happening—messy, magical, and sometimes in motion.
So whether you’re here for a travel tip, a random reflection, or just a soft place to land after a long day—thank you for visiting.

This is SuperAnjVentures.
A blog by someone who believes that life, when shared honestly, is already an adventure.

🩺 The Nurse in Me
Nursing is my daily life and my deeper purpose. It has shaped the way I see people, pain, and perseverance. I carry stories from my shifts that don’t always make it into charts—but sometimes find their way here in quieter ways.
✨ The Human in Me
I’m a lover of contrasts:
☕ Morning coffee and midnight journaling
📸 Still moments and sudden road trips
💬 Deep conversations and shared silences
🌧️ Grey skies and golden hearts
I write, I wander, I feel too much, and I believe that even the smallest day can carry something worth remembering.
MY values
Authenticity.
I write the way I live — honestly, softly, and with intention. Whether it’s a night shift or a moment of stillness by the sea, I believe in showing up as I am.
Compassion.
As a nurse and a storyteller, I carry both stethoscope and empathy. I believe in the quiet kind of kindness — the one that listens, lingers, and leaves people better than before.
Resilience.
There’s strength in soft-spoken stories. I honour the struggle behind every smile, the courage beneath every “I’m fine,” and the quiet victories no one sees.
Curiosity.
I see the world through a writer’s lens — curious, wondering, always ready to learn from the ordinary. I believe every place, person, and pause has a story.
Gratitude.
No matter how far I go, I hold on to gratitude like a compass. For family. For faith. For second chances. For the gift of writing it all down.

SuperAnjVentures is my personal blog — part diary, part travel journal, part storytelling sanctuary. It holds reflections from my life as a Filipina nurse in the UK, my quiet love for writing, and my small, soulful adventures around the world (and within myself).
I’m a Stroke Clinical Nurse Specialist, writer, and Filipina OFW. I tell stories — from hospital corridors to cobbled streets, from long-distance love to life’s lingering questions. I’m also the author of The Other Side of the Dream and Mind the Bedpan.
Because some emotions are too sacred to say out loud — but not too sacred to write. I started blogging as a way to process life’s moments: homesickness, joy, grief, love, and becoming.
Expect soft reflections, travel diaries, nurse life insights, personal essays, book updates, and quiet confessions — written from the heart. Sometimes you’ll find poetry, sometimes lists, sometimes letters I never sent.
I’m currently based in the UK, working under the NHS. But my roots are in Toledo City, Cebu, Philippines — and I carry home with me, always.
Yes! You can find my books on Amazon and select links across my blog. The Other Side of the Dream and Mind the Bedpan are available in both Kindle and paperback.
Absolutely. If your heart aligns with the values of storytelling, compassion, OFW voices, or creative partnerships — let’s talk. You can reach me via my [Contact Page] or Instagram @superanjventures.
Yes — emotionally, always. Factually, most of the time. Some names and details are adjusted for privacy, but the heart of the story? That’s always real.
