Six days ago, I published something I never thought I’d be brave enough to release: my first book, The Other Side of the Dream.

It started with journal entries—tiny reflections I scribbled between hospital shifts and teary phone calls home. I was just trying to make sense of this strange, beautiful, heartbreaking life of being an Overseas Filipino Worker. A nurse. A daughter. A dreamer who left home chasing something more, only to find that “more” sometimes comes with a quiet ache.

The Other Side of the Dream is part memoir, part love letter—to every OFW who’s ever felt homesick in a crowd, to every nurse who’s cried in the break room, to every soul who’s whispered, “Was it worth it?”

It’s a book about:
