Extinct Sleep and Sleepless Thoughts

If you could bring back one dinosaur, which one would it be?

None—for now, I just want to bring back sleep.

It’s 3:53 AM and I’m still wide awake. My night shift body clock refuses to rest, even on days off. So instead of choosing a dinosaur, I’m choosing poems—short ones, soft ones, the kind that might cradle me toward sleep.

I’ll share a few in a bit, in case they help you drift off too. Or at least keep you company in the quiet.

Sorry for the late reply—but your message made me smile! 😄 A blanket party sounds like the perfect remedy for a not-so-sleepy night.

Hugs to you and your cat. I hope you get enough rest during the day.

Aww, thank you so much! That means more than you know. Millie the cat sends her purrs, and I’ll do my best to catch those precious hours of rest—I actually had a 5-hour sleep, which isn’t too bad, but still not quite enough. 😅 Hoping for an early night soon! Sending a warm hug right back your way.

My pleasure, AJ. I wish to see Millie the adorable cat. Yes, 5-hour-sleep is not too bad, but if nap can be taken, it’s better.
